US-23 resurfacing in Iosco County starts Monday

PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $498,000 to resurface 4 miles of US-23 in two segments: from south of Ruel Road to the Tawas River bridge, and from Andrew Drive to the north Iosco County line.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
This work will require daytime single-lane closures with traffic regulators.
SAFETY FEATURES:
Resurfacing will provide drivers with a smoother, safer drive and will extend the life of the roadway. This project includes new pavement markings.
