MDOT open house for tree clearing
along M-311 in Calhoun County
WHAT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting an open house to discuss a road project on M-311 (11 Mile Road) in Burlington, Newton and Emmett townships in Calhoun County.

BACKGROUND:
MDOT representatives will be on hand to discuss the safety benefits of this project along M-311 between M-60 and M-96. Current project plans include removing fixed objects, including trees, within MDOT's right of way to improve safety. Work is scheduled to start this November with a majority of the project expected to be completed by April 2020. During construction, traffic will be maintained by traffic regulators.
