M-58 resurfacing in Saginaw County starts April 15

PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $1.4 million to resurface less than 2 miles of M-58 from Lawndale Road to east of Avalon Avenue in Saginaw Township and the city of Saginaw. Work includes pavement resurfacing, concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk and drainage improvements, and ramp improvements compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
Daytime lane closures can be expected for structure improvements and ADA ramp work. All paving will occur overnight with lane closures 9 p.m. through 6 a.m.
SAFETY BENEFITS:
This work will improve the pavement surface, drainage, and sidewalks, and make sidewalk ramps compliant with ADA standards, while extending the life of the road.
