PROJECT DETAILS:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing $3 million to resurface and repair approximately 13 miles of I-96 from Bristol Avenue to 68th Avenue in Kent and Ottawa counties.

TRAFFIC IMPACT:
Weekend single-lane closures will be in effect through the end of May on I-96 from Bristol Avenue to 16th Avenue. From June to mid-August, weekday lane closures will be in place from 16th Avenue to 68th Avenue. Intermittent nightly single-lane closures will be used throughout the project and each ramp within the project limits will be closed for one night during resurfacing.
SAFETY BENEFITS:
This project will improve the ride quality and extend the service life of the roadway.
