US-24 (Telegraph Road)

Early April 2019

Late July 2019

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is continuing a long-term repair project on US-24 (Telegraph Road) in Bloomfield Township, which began last year. Milling and resurfacing, along with concrete pavement and drainage structure repairs, will begin soon on southbound US-24 from just north of Square Lake Road to Long Lake Road, on northbound US-24 from Long Lake Road to Square Lake Road, and in each direction of US-24 at the Maple Road intersection.

Project map:

There will be at least two lanes open in each direction on weekdays and weeknights, and one lane open in each direction on weekends.

Access will be maintained to all businesses, driveways, and side streets during construction.

MDOT understands the impact this type of major work has on motorists and works as quickly and as safely as possible to get the job done. This maintenance work will improve safety and provide a smoother driving surface.
