M-51 and M-62 resurfacing work has begun

in Dowagiac

PROJECT DETAILS:

The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing $1.4 million to resurface approximately 3.5 miles of M-51 and M-62 in the city of Dowagiac. Work also includes new curb and gutter and sidewalk ramp upgrades compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

TRAFFIC IMPACT:

Lane closures under flag control will be in effect throughout the project.

 

SAFETY BENEFITS:

This project will improve the ride quality and extend the service life of the roadway.
