Lane closures: EB I-96/I-196, Grand Rapids, March 31 - June 10

Lane closures for reconstruction will be in effect 7 a.m. this Sunday THROUGH mid-June on eastbound I-96 between Leonard Street and East Beltline Avenue.  In addition, from 7 a.m. Sunday to 6 p.m. this Monday, the left lane of eastbound I-196 will be closed from Maryland Avenue to I-96, and the off ramp from eastbound I-96 to East Beltline Avenue will close.

***In mid-June, eastbound I-96 will CLOSE after Leonard Street for approximately 4.5 months.  Eastbound I-96 will remain open to Plainfield Avenue and Leonard Street, but through-traffic will be detoured onto southbound US-131 to eastbound I-196.***
