Eastbound I-96 lane closure this weekend from M-52 to M-59 in Ingham and Livingston counties

PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $14 million to resurface 11 miles of I-96 between M-52 and M-59 in Ingham and Livingston counties.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
The left lane of eastbound I-96 will be closed from M-52 to M-59. The Fowlerville Road entrance ramp to eastbound I-96 also will be closed.
This is the last of four planned weekends to have major work occur day and night in order to avoid holidays and major events. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes. SAFETY BENEFITS:
These closures will increase safety for workers and motorists through this work zone. The overall resurfacing project will provide a smoother and safer driving surface.
