The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing $600,000 in preventive maintenance and repair work on the Michigan Avenue (Capitol Loop) bridge over the Grand River in the city of Lansing.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
This work will occur on the north half of the bridge with all westbound lanes closed. Posted detour: Cedar Street to Kalamazoo Street, then Grand Avenue.
SAFETY BENEFITS: This maintenance and repair work will provide a smoother driving surface and extend the life of the bridge.
