I-94 repaving starts Monday in Van Buren County

PROJECT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $9 million to repave 5.8 miles of eastbound I-94 from 56th Street to M-51 in Van Buren County. The project includes ramp and shoulder reconstruction, guardrail replacement, and pavement markings.

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS:
Nightly (9 p.m. to 9 a.m.) single-lane closures during the week with some weekend work possible.
SAFETY BENEFITS:
This project will improve and maintain a smooth driving surface as well as extend the service life of the roadway and bridges.
