BACKGROUND:
The addition of the center left-turn lane is intended to reduce left-turn and rear-end crashes. Resurfacing the pavement will create a smooth driving surface and extend the life of the roadway. One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained during work. Lane closures will only be in effect during daytime working hours, with additional consideration being made for holiday weekends and local community festivals.
