Traffic alert: US-2 BR closed, detoured in Ironwood
after structure fire
Feb. 23, 2018 – Eastbound and westbound US-2 Business Route is closed and detoured between Lowell and Suffolk streets in the city of Ironwood following a structure fire Wednesday.
A posted detour on city streets is in effect while the cause of the fatal fire and the integrity of the building is being investigated.
The detour is expected to remain in effect until cleanup and partial demolition of the structure can be completed.
