M-179 (Chief Noonday Road) is closed at Whitmore Road due to flooding.  Eastbound traffic should head north on Whitmore Road and then east on M-37 (Middleville Road).  Westbound traffic head southwest on Gun Lake Road and then north on Yankee Springs Road.
