MDOT to host public meeting to discuss M-13/M-84 (Lafayette Street) bascule bridge replacement
WHAT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will hold a public meeting regarding an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed replacement of the M-13/M-84 (Lafayette Street) bascule bridge in city of Bay City, Bay County, located approximately 2.5 miles east of I-75 between Evergreen Drive and Water Street.

BACKGROUND:
The proposed replacement project on M-13/M-84 includes:

Replacing the aging bridge foundation and superstructure.

The project is expected to start in 2020 with completion anticipated in 2022.
