Dear Research Stakeholders:

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Research Administration is announcing six requests for proposals (RFPs). MDOT is interested in receiving proposals from Michigan universities in response to the RFPs on the following topics:

    • Requisition #2297 - Best Practices for Modernizing MDOT Bridge Design Manual, Guides and Policy Documentation

An organization that is not a Michigan university may be included in the research team but the primary contractor must be a Michigan university. A MDOT scoring panel will review all submitted proposals. If MDOT's needs are not met, the proposed projects will be advertised in a nationwide request for proposal.

MDOT is also interested in receiving proposals from consultants nationwide in response to the RFPs on the following topics:

    • Requisition #2295 - Enterprise-Phase II Pooled Fund Administrative Services and Technical Advisement OR17-101B
    • Requisition #2296 – Development of V2I Pre-Deployment Guidelines

ALL proposals are available under the research services heading at the following web page:  MDOT Requests for Proposals

Interested proposers should review and follow the Consultant/Vendor Selection Guidelines for Research Administration PDF

Any questions relative to the RFP’s must be submitted by e-mail to:  mdot-research@michigan.gov

Thank You,

Research Administration
