Closures: M-121 (Chicago Drive), Kent/Ottawa counties, May 18-31

The following list of closures is for sanitary sewer work:  

The ramp from westbound I-196 to westbound M-121 (Chicago Drive) will close 9 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday) for approximately 2 weeks.  Detour- Exit at Baldwin Street and take Main Street south to M-121.     

 

This Friday, at 7pm, M-121 will have a TOTAL CLOSURE from Main Street to the I-196 eastbound ramps.  The following detours will be in place until 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 23:

 

For WB M-121; Go south on Fairlanes Avenue, west on 36th Street, continue straight on Tyler Street, continue straight on Cottonwood Drive to M-121.

 

For EB M-121; Go south on Main Street and continue south on Kenowa Avenue, east on 36th Street and north on Canal Avenue to M-121.

 

For EB M-121 to WB I-196; Go south on Cottonwood Drive, continue straight on Tyler Street, south on Kenowa Avenue and east on 44th Street to the I-196 WB ramp.

 The work is weather dependent.
