Upcoming closures at US-23 and Summerfield Road in Monroe Co

US-23 at Summerfield Road, Monroe County
The following schedule is for continued bridge work at Summerfield Road and US-23 in Monroe County:
Single Lane Closure
Starting Monday, April 3, and continuing through Friday, April 7, there will be a single lane closure in each direction on US-23 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.
The lane closures are needed for pier and abutment work.
In addition, on Wednesday, April 5, and Thursday, April 6, there will be a single lane closure on southbound US-23 only each day between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Full Freeway Closure
Northbound US-23
Starting at 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, northbound US-23 will be closed for beam setting at the bridge.
The freeway is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. on Thursday, April 6.
Traffic will be directed on and off the freeway using the ramps.
Southbound US-23
Starting at 9 p.m. Thursday, April 6, southbound US-23 will be closed for beam setting at the bridge.
The freeway is expected to reopen by 5 a.m. on Friday, April 7.
Traffic will be directed on and off the freeway using the ramps.
Ramp Closure
On Thursday, April 6, the northbound US-23 exit and entrance ramp to Summerfield Road will be closed.
A detour will be posted when the ramp is closed that uses St. Anthony Road and the US-223 interchange.
Summerfield Road
For Summerfield Road construction west of US-23, there will be one lane maintained with flag control starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 3, to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5.
