Eastbound I-196 remains down to one lane for road and bridge work between Chicago Drive and M-11 (28th Street/Wilson Avenue).  This closure will remain in place THROUGH August 29.

Expect delays especially during the morning commute.  This will be a 'zipper merge' so motorists should use both open lanes until the signed merge point and then alternate.
