Public meeting scheduled for 2017
US-31 reconstruction in Emmet County
WHAT:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will have a public open house to discuss the 2017 project to reconstruct US-31 from Douglas Lake Road north to Levering Road in Emmet County.

BACKGROUND:
MDOT plans to reconstruct and resurface US-31 from Douglas Lake Road north to Levering Road, including safety and drainage improvements. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in April 2017 and be completed in October 2017. A detour is expected during a portion of the project.
