Update: MDOT maintenance work coming to US-23, US-23 ramps, and I-75/M-57 ramps in Genesee County Sept. 14

PROJECT DETAILS:
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be performing maintenance on northbound US-23 near the Fenton Rest Area, including the following ramps:
- Northbound US-23 to Owen Road and Silver Lake Road
- Southbound US-23 to North Road, Silver Lake Road, and Owen Road
- North Road, Silver Lake Road, and Owen Road ramps to southbound US-23
- Northbound and southbound I-75 ramps to M-57 in Genesee County
Crews expect to be working two nights at each location, and will be milling and resurfacing the roadway between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
TRAFFIC IMPACT:
One lane of northbound US-23 will be closed near the Fenton Rest Area. Once work is completed, crews will move on to the second lane.
Each ramp will be closed during resurfacing, with motorists detoured to the following exit. However, ramps will remain open during the day.
Crews will use message boards to alert motorists to an upcoming ramp closure.
