"Fall" in love with Michigan state parks and recreation areas this September! Kick off the autumn season by visiting a state park or recreation area near you to enjoy one of the DNR’s Fresh Air Fit or Recreation 101 ("Rec101") programs or enjoy one of our other events for a day of family-friendly fun and fitness in the great outdoors. There are never-ending programs and events for family and friends to enjoy together, including introductory archery lessons, the Tip of the Mitt Paddle Fest, the Great Outdoors Youth Jamboree and much more!

Visit our website to view the complete listing of events at all Michigan state parks and recreation areas. New programs are added monthly, so check back often!
