Ortonville Shooting Range

The construction project at the Ortonville Shooting Range is complete, and the range will reopen to the public on Saturday, Sept. 8.

As you can see in the pictures attached below, we have added more shooting stations to the range. The 25-yard range now sits four shooters, the 50-yard range holds six shooters, and the 100-yard range allows for six shooters. Also during the last few weeks, we have added a berm and concrete to allow for a 10-yard pistol range that accommodates four shooters and a new 200-yard range allowing for six shooters at a time. This required the moving of a large hill and sloping to allow for this yardage. During the time the range has been closed, we also have installed all-new, ADA-compliant shooting benches along with new ADA-compliant paths to each of our target structures.

Thank you for you patience as we have done everything in our powers to get this done for the shooting public in a timely matter.
