- Volunteer Stewardship Workday -

Enjoy fall in Michigan by joining a volunteer stewardship workday!

Muskegon State Park: Saturday, November 22, 10 a.m. - noon

Meet at the Channel campground registration parking area (south end of the park).

Help keep our dunes free of invasive plants! Volunteers will help remove unwanted plants from the park before they spread to the open dune ecosystem.  No experience is necessary, and volunteers will be trained to identify target species.

Long sleeve shirts, long pants and closed-toed shoes are highly recommended.

To register or learn more, contact Tyler Lidgard at LidgardT@Michigan.gov.

What to wear

Wear appropriate gear for working outdoors, including long pants and closed-toe shoes.
