Enjoy spring in Michigan by joining efforts in creating new nesting habitat for the Kirtland's warbler.

Join MUCC's On the Ground, the Kirtland’s Warbler Alliance, and Huron Pines for the 2025 Jack Pine Planting Day. The goal of the project is to improve and enhance Kirtland’s warbler habitat by planting over 6,000 jack pine trees in the Grayling Forest Management Unit.

What to wear

Wear appropriate gear for working outdoors, including long pants and closed-toe shoes.

What to bring

Drinking water, work/gardening gloves, insect repellent and safety glasses (if needed).

Youth and groups

Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please notify us of groups of more than five people.
