It's officially ski season in the Porkies!
The Porkies Winter Sports Complex is open for the season! Nestled within Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park in Michigan's western Upper Peninsula, this winter wonderland is open Friday through Monday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
Come prepared to conquer fresh powder, carve down 20 downhill runs, weave through the natural terrain park or explore glades nestled between runs – all while enjoying stellar views of Lake Superior. Or, glide along set tracks on cross-country skis, or feel the crunch under your snowshoes or fat-tire bike.
All you need is a Recreation Passport to enter the park by vehicle and a lift ticket to ride the triple chairlift.
Experience the thrill of winter in a whole new way! Sno-Go bike rentals begin Saturday, Feb. 17. A demo day will take place that day too!
