Apply for recognition with 'Tree City' family of programs

Celebrate your community's accomplishments in urban and community forestry by applying for Tree City USA program recognition. In addition, universities, health care organizations and utilities are eligible for recognition in related programs, including Tree Campus, Tree Campus Healthcare and Tree Line. Communities that have received Tree City designations for at least one year may be eligible for Growth Awards. Learn more and submit an application by Dec. 31.


Last chance! Green Communities Leadership Institute application period extended

There's still time to apply for the Green Communities Institute's next cohort, to be held January-March 2023. The program brings together leaders working to create sustainable communities and provides the tools to grow skills and impact. Apply for the program by Oct. 14

October is Neighborwoods® Month - join in!

NeighborWoods® Month is an annual Arbor Foundation Day campaign to plant and care for community trees during the month of October. Fall is a great time to plant trees. Each year, tens of thousands of volunteers take action to make their communities greener and healthier by planting trees—keeping their neighborhoods vibrant. Ready to plant?
