Urban and community forestry industry leaders are invited to submit speaker applications for ARBORCON 2022. Michigan’s premier education and networking event for tree care professionals attracts over 400 attendees each year and will take place Feb. 7-9 at the Lansing Center in Lansing.

Join Michigan State University in a winter invasives webinar series diving into aspects of emerald ash borer, an invasive green insect that has wiped out the majority of Michigan's ash trees. Webinars will explore breeding resistant ash trees, conducting outreach on invasive species and looking to the future to prevent the "next emerald ash borer" through early detection methods.

The Chicago Wilderness Alliance is offering a series of free workshops centered on providing resources to conservation organizations to further justice, equity and diversity in outdoor spaces. The workshops will be hosted by Cream City Conservation & Consulting.

The Detroit Green Door Initiative is an organization dedicated to growing environmental literacy, sustainability and environmental justice. The organization supports four program categories: Ensuring environmental justice, an environmental technician career worker training program, youth speak green (amplifying youth voices) and solar (coming soon).
