Spring turkey season begins this Saturday!

Buy your license now so you don’t miss a day in the field.

For many hunters, Saturday kicks off the 2021 hunting season, just in time to pursue a wild turkey for summer barbeques.

If you haven’t picked up your license yet, there’s still time. Purchase a license over the counter at your local license retailer or online at Michigan.gov/Turkey. If you didn’t apply for a license during the application period, see what hunt units have leftover licenses available or check out Hunt 234.

Licenses purchased online will ship to you in seven to 10 business days. It is illegal to hunt without a spring turkey license in your possession. Find season regulations and hunt information in the Spring Turkey Digest.

Are you new to turkey hunting and looking for a place to hunt?

Scout a spot at one of Michigan's Turkey Tracts. These public hunting areas are managed for turkey habitat, providing hunters with optimal opportunities to harvest a bird. Additionally, there are marked hunter trails, parking lots and kiosks with area information to help hunters navigate the area.
