MI Arbor Day Alliance offers tree planting grants

The Michigan Arbor Day Alliance and sponsor ITC are partnering to support tree planting in Michigan communities. Grants of up to $2,000 for tree planting projects are available to units of government, public education institutions, nonprofit organizations and others. Become an ISA-certified arborist

ISA Michigan, our state's chapter of the International Arboriculture Society, is offering a three-day course in March for those in the tree care industry who wish to gain this credential. Learn more and register for the course

2021 marks the centennial of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. To celebrate, the DNR came up with 100 ways to explore and enjoy the state's natural and cultural resources. Planting a tree or a pollinator garden is a great one for spring!

Macomb County tree and plant sale is back

Macomb County's annual tree and plant sale partnership is returning for a fifth year, offering the public opportunities to add shade trees, fruit trees, shrubs, vegetables and wildflowers to their yards.
