COVID-19 Update
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Gov. Whitmer's recent order extending work from home for state employees, the Michigan History Museum in Lansing, the Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee and the Archives of Michigan in Lansing will remain closed to the public at least through March 1, 2021.
We will provide updates as new information becomes available.

Tawas Lighthouse Keeper program update for 2021
The COVID-19 pandemic stopped the 2020 Tawas Lighthouse Keeper program before it started, but not before the season's keepers had been selected and started training. The Center made the decision to postpone the 2020 keeper placements until the 2021 season. As a result, the Center will not will not be accepting keeper applications for the 2021 summer season.
