Looking back: A kid won the Pure Michigan Hunt?

Yes! Luke Haynes, a middle school student, was one of the first people ever to walk away with the hunt of a lifetime in 2010. That year, Luke bagged a double-bearded turkey, a 200-pound black bear and a 500-pound bull elk. Because Pure Michigan Hunt applications are like any other hunting application, even kids (10 years of age and older) are eligible.

Each $5 Pure Michigan Hunt application helps fund Michigan's wildlife habitat restoration and management.

Get as many applications as you like – for yourself or as holiday presents and stocking stuffers for your favorite hunters. Visit Michigan.gov/PMH for more details.
