Join the first virtual REC workshop, Jan. 13, 2021 from 1 to 3:30 p.m., to learn about REC programs and walk through the steps to submit a proposal for the design and creation of new firefighting equipment.
The REC provides fire agencies across the nation with specialized equipment designed and brought to life at its cutting-edge fabrication shop.
The no-cost, virtual workshop will include presentations on:
- The history of the Forest Fire Experiment Station
- Roscommon Equipment Center fire equipment projects
- Michigan DNR air operations
- The Federal Excess Property Program
- Power Bully equipment designed at the REC
- How to submit a project proposal
