June hunting and trapping opportunities

This summer, you may still enjoy many outdoor activities, including hunting, as long as you practice proper social distancing by staying at least 6 feet from those who don't live in your household.

Reminder: comments on proposed deer regulations must be received by June 5

Review the memo to the Natural Resources Commission about proposed changes to 2020 deer hunting regulations and the justifications behind the proposed changes at Michigan.gov/Deer.

Hunters are encouraged to review the proposed regulations and share their feedback either through an anonymous survey or by email to NRC@Michigan.gov.

All comments must be received by June 5 and will be shared with Natural Resources Commission members.

Download hunting digests

This year, printing and distribution of hunting digests will be limited. For on-demand digest access that travels where you do without the need for internet access, consider downloading DNR hunting and fishing digests to your phone. They are available for download on Android and Apple devices. Find the current digests and downloading instructions at Michigan.gov/DNRDigests.
