Hunting for Sustainability: Learn to Hunt Turkey
April 4-5 and April 25-26 in Oakland County
Have you been interested in hunting turkey but haven't had the chance to learn? Michigan Backcountry Hunters & Anglers is offering a low cost, all-inclusive program that will introduce you to turkey hunting while educating you on:
- Firearm safety.
- Access to public lands.
- Ethical hunting.
- The history of conservation and the hunter's role.
- How to butcher turkey for a local, sustainable meat source.
The cost is $50 and will include a training weekend April 4-5, with the hunt the weekend of April 25-26.
