Warren Dunes State Park, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Join us as we work to protect the beautiful dunes! We will be cutting and stump treating scattered invasive woody shrubs and oriental bittersweet before they encroach further into the natural landscape. No experience is necessary. Please arrive on time as we may caravan to the work site.

Meeting location: meet at the picnic area just south of the campground. Follow the road to the campground, turn left into the picnic shelter. GPS coordinates:41.907001, -86.591755.

Cancellations

Call 269-921-0232 the morning of the workday to check for cancellations. Messages will be posted at least 2 hours in advance.

What to Wear

Wear appropriate gear for working outdoors, including long pants, long sleeves and closed-toe shoes.

Youth and Groups

Youth under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Advanced registration is encouraged for groups larger than five.
