Hunter safety field day available Aug. 4 at Saginaw Bay Waterfowl Festival
Saginaw Bay-area residents who plan to complete the online class and exam portion of Michigan's hunter education class and are interested in a local field day opportunity, mark your calendars for the area's annual waterfowl festival. Field day date, time, location and registration details include:
- Sunday, Aug. 4, 8 a.m. to noon
- Saginaw Bay Visitor Center, located inside Bay City State Park, 3582 State Park Drive, in Bay City

Students who register for an online hunter safety education program must preregister for a field day before the online class can be completed. Field day opportunities are available throughout Michigan. After successfully completing the online exam (required before participating in a field day), students must print their certificate of completion and bring it with them to the field day.
