The Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy's (EGLE) Water Resources Division has opened a new grant funding opportunity for aquatic invasive plant management in Michigan’s inland lakes.
Approximately $100,000 will be available through the Aquatic Invasive Plant Control Grant for the reimbursement of permit fees required for projects to control or eradicate inland lake aquatic invasive plants using physical, biological or chemical control activities in 2019.

This grant program is implemented in accordance with the addition of Part 414 to the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended.
