Bald Mountain Shooting Range in Lake Orion will host its first National Sporting Clays Association-registered tournament of the year Saturday Jan. 19.
Everyone is invited to participate. Free NSCA memberships will be available to first-time tournament shooters! This is a great opportunity to meet new people, have fun and compete against shooters of similar skill.
Two events will be available: a 100-target sporting clays event (rotations at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.) and a 50-target five-stand event. Shoot both or just one. Cost is $70 and $30, respectively, with MSCA/NSCA fees and lunch included.
Please note: the sporting clays course and five-stand at Bald Mountain will be closed to nontournament shooters on Jan. 19. The executive course and rifle/pistol range will remain open.
