Campers at Waterloo State Park

The DNR’s online reservations website for Michigan state parks and harbors (midnrreservations.com) is getting a fall makeover! The new website, launching Nov. 5, will offer the same basic functionality but will be more responsive, have a new look and feel, and still allow customers to see campsite photos and search for campsites and harbor slips from a map, list or calendar display.

Customer profiles and reservation history; password reset
If you’ve made a reservation at any time in the last four years, your customer profile and reservation history will carry over to the new site. (Any current reservations will carry over, too.) *You’ll receive an email in late October with instructions on how to reset your profile password for the site.

No reservations can be made Oct. 29 through Nov. 4
To prepare for a successful transition, there will be a small window of time (Oct. 29 through Nov. 4) when reservations cannot be made via the website or call center. If you would like to make a reservation during this time frame, please book your plans before Oct. 29 or plan to register upon arrival.

Important dates:

  • Late October: Customers who have made a reservation in the last four years will receive an email with instructions on how to reset passwords.
  • Oct 28: Last day to make a campsite or harbor reservation for an arrival between Oct. 29 and Nov 4.
  • Oct. 29 to Nov. 4: No reservations will be accepted.
  • Nov 5: NEW reservation website will be fully functional and accept reservations.
