Metallic Minerals Lease Request in Marquette County
UPX Minerals Inc., of Wakefield, Michigan has requested a direct metallic minerals lease from the State of Michigan covering Department of Natural Resources (DNR) metallic mineral rights located in Republic Township, Marquette County, further described as:
SW1/4 SW1/4, Section 35, T47N, R30W, containing 40 acres, more or less
The recommended lease classification is development with restriction, which means there are other specific restrictions in the lease in addition to the standard lease provisions. The lease would allow surface use for metallic minerals exploration or development after all necessary permissions have been obtained.
