Volunteer stewards will search the dunes
along the popular and beautiful Homestead Trail with Volunteer Steward Beth
W.! Pulling garlic mustard is like
weeding and is an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon in the woods. We will be working off trail so plan to wear
sturdy shoes, long pants and sleeves are recommended. Degree of difficulty: Moderate to strenuous.
Meet in the parking area in front of the
Gillette Nature Center near the Homestead Trailhead. Please arrive on
time as we will be hiking to the work location.
