 The Michigan History Center offers summer camps for learners ages 9 – 12 years old. Spend your summer in the heart of Lansing exploring Michigan history, learning new skills, making new friends, and going on memorable adventures!

Curiosity Camp inspires curiosity rooted in Michigan’s stories and takes campers on a tour of the best Lansing has to offer – from organic farming to maker spaces to historic sites. When they’re not out on the town, campers fill their time with a variety of curiosity-inspiring activities onsite at the Michigan History Center — breakout-boxes, design challenges, scavenger hunts and more!

 This brand-new summer camp is perfect for the young historian in your life! Future Historians Camp takes campers on a journey through Michigan’s past, combining field trips and games with opportunities to learn real history skills. Campers will work with historians and archivists throughout the course of the week and complete an exciting oral history project to show off at Barbara J. Brown Family History Day on July 21.

Dig Camp inspires campers to investigate our human past through digital quests and hands-on activities and helps them discover new and exciting ways to explore the world around and under them.
