Belle Isle Park Advisory Committee to meet Thursday in Detroit
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources today announced the Belle Isle Park Advisory Committee will meet Thursday, Jan. 18, at the Flynn Pavilion, near the intersection of Picnic Way and Loiter Way in Belle Isle Park, Detroit. The public meeting will take place from 9 to 11 a.m.
The complete meeting agenda can be found on the Belle Isle Park Advisory Committee website at www.michigan.gov/dnr, under Commissions, Boards and Committees. Topics for the meeting will include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic management plan update.
- Summer Youth Employment Program.
- General updates, including law enforcement and park updates, Belle Isle Conservancy update.
- Public comments.
The Belle Isle Park Advisory Committee advises the state on implementation of improvements, master planning and public safety for Belle Isle Park.
