West Branch location added for 'Talk and Tea with the DNR Shooting Range Specialist'

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has added a new location to its "Talk and Tea with the DNR Shooting Range Specialist" schedule. This series of meetings, scheduled around the state, offers the public an opportunity to provide input and discuss local and statewide target-shooting activities, development and concerns.

The additional meeting will take place:

  • Tuesday, Jan. 30, 9 to 10 a.m.
    Ogemaw Township Hall, 1990 Gray Road, West Branch

The DNR is hosting Talk and Tea with the DNR Shooting Range Specialist in areas of the state it is evaluating for improvement and expansion of public target-shooting locations. The meetings will be very informal, and formal presentations may not be made. Refreshments will be provided.

  • Thursday, Feb. 1, 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
    DNR Grayling Field Office, 1955 Hartwick Pines Road, Grayling

  • Monday, Feb. 5, 9 to 10 a.m.
    Jay’s Sporting Goods, 1151 S. Otsego Ave., Gaylord

  • Thursday, Feb. 8, 9 to 10 a.m.
    Cheboygan Public Library, 100 S. Bailey St., Cheboygan
  • Friday, March 2, 9 to 10 a.m.
    Bayliss Public Library, 541 Library Drive, Sault Ste. Marie
  • Tuesday, March 6, 9 to 10 a.m.
    Mt. Pleasant Public Library, 307 E. Monroe St., Mt. Pleasant
