Bobcat hunters/trappers – today is the LAST DAY to get your kill tags!
If you're planning to harvest bobcats, please be aware that you MUST acquire your bobcat kill tags today (Nov. 30) in order to trap or hunt bobcats during any 2017 bobcat harvest seasons.
Bobcat kill tags – along with otter, fisher, and marten kill tags – are issued to residents with a 2017 fur harvester license, free of charge, at license agents or DNR Customer Service Centers.
You also can order your free kill tags online at E-License. Kill tags ordered online are mailed and will take seven to 10 business days to receive.
Bobcat trapping season for Units A and B opens Dec. 1 and for Units C, D, E and F opens Dec. 10.
Bobcat hunting seasons begin Jan. 1, 2018.
See the 2017 Michigan Hunting and Trapping Digest for more season dates and regulations for fur harvesting in Michigan.
