Woodcock workshop – Friday, Oct. 27 in Roscommon

11th American Woodcock Symposium logoMichigan is the place to be for woodcock enthusiasts this October! Not only is the woodcock hunting the best in the country, Michigan is the site of the 11th American Woodcock Symposium.

As part of the symposium, a special workshop for woodcock enthusiasts is being offered the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 27 at the Ralph A. MacMullan Conference Center in Roscommon. Learn about woodcock management and habitat from world woodcock authorities. Find out about woodcock biology and what you can do to improve woodcock habitat in your neck of the woods, and share your woodcock experiences and observations.

The $10 workshop registration fee includes meeting attendance, snacks and an evening reception. A special banquet ($22) hosted by American Woodcock Society follows, and lodging is available. You can hunt prior to the Friday afternoon meeting and during the weekend. Please register online, and see the workshop flyer for more details.
