'Ask the DNR' airs Thursday on WNMU-TV13

Michigan Department of Natural Resources staff will appear live Thursday night, Dec. 1 on the call-in question program “Ask the DNR” broadcast on Public Television from WNMU-TV13 in Marquette.

The hour-long program will air live at 8 p.m. EST and will be repeated at noon Dec. 2.

DNR staff members are scheduled to discuss the firearm deer hunting season and the upcoming snowmobile and skiing seasons, though the discussion is typically wide-ranging, based on viewer questions.

Those scheduled to appear include Darren Kramer, fisheries biologist, Mike Evink, conservation officer, Dave Jentoft, wildlife biologist and Paul Gaberdiel, recreation trails specialist.

The program is being sponsored by the Northwoods Chapter of Safari Club International.
