Give Us Your Thoughts On Invasive Carp

As a subscriber of the Michigan DNR’s Fishing Hot Topics email list, you are receiving this email to consider sharing your opinions about invasive carp and their management in Michigan. Your feedback is appreciated!

Michigan State University wants to hear your opinion about invasive carp! Many people know about invasive carp, including bighead, silver, black and grass carp. Currently, there is no evidence of bighead, silver or black carp populations in the Great Lakes, but individual grass carp have been found in some locations. This survey will ask you a series of questions about your opinions on invasive carp and their management. Your input will help managers as they consider options for invasive carp prevention and management. Your responses are completely confidential. Funding for this research project is provided by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
