As we move towards the end of summer and into fall, a walk in the woods to enjoy nature or to scout a potential hunting location might bring a chance encounter with a snake or two. While people are usually most concerned with the massasauga rattlesnake, being able to properly identify all Michigan species is a useful skill to have.
Enjoy these latest videos in our 60-Second Snakes series, covering: the smooth green snake, northern brown snake, butlers and eastern garter snakes, the ribbon snake, northern ring-necked snake, northern red-bellied snake, eastern and western fox snakes and. finally, how to safely remove a snake from a building.
