Great Father’s Day gift idea – Pure Michigan Hunt applications!

Trying to find the perfect gift for Father’s Day? Give your dad the chance at the hunt of a lifetime with a gift of Pure Michigan Hunt applications!

Each year, three people are randomly selected as Pure Michigan Hunt winners. The prize is a hunting package valued over $4,000. Each winner receives elk, bear, antlerless deer, spring and fall turkey hunting licenses, first pick at a managed waterfowl hunt area, a Darton Archery crossbow package, a 30.06 rifle from Dick Williams Gun Shop, a 12-gauge shotgun from Ducks Unlimited and many more prizes. For a complete list of licenses and prizes, visit www.mi.gov/pmh.

Hunters must enter to win.

Buy $5 Pure Michigan Hunt applications anywhere hunting licenses are sold or buy online. There is no limit to the number of applications you can purchase, but the deadline is Dec. 31, 2016. The Pure Michigan Hunting licenses will be valid for the 2017 hunting season.

Don’t forget, Pure Michigan Hunt winners can now transfer one or all of their licenses to another eligible hunter! This will allow hunters – and their friends and family members – to buy as many Pure Michigan Hunt applications as they want for both themselves and others. Instead of needing to know other hunters' driver’s license numbers, addresses and birthdates to apply on their behalf, Pure Michigan Hunt winners now have the ability to give one or more of their licenses away to whomever they choose or keep all of the licenses for themselves.
